I decided to play with my Big Kick and Sizzix Embossing Folders to make some birthday cards for our church card ministry.

I used chalks and and a Tombow blender pen to color the cherry. I stamped the text and envelope in Belle Rose Palette ink, and sponged the same ink around the edges of the embossed panel.

For this card, I first die cut an oval tag with my Big Kick, then embossed it with the candle design. I used Tombow markers to color the raised image of the embossed panel. The envelope is stamped in Landscape Palette ink.

This card is definitely masculine and simple. I stamped the sentiment in Cognac Palette ink and sponged the same ink around the edge of the embossed panel.
