Love Doodles Bottle Cap Cards
These are a couple of quick cards using The Angel Company stamps, inks, and papers, along with some bottle cap embellishments. The two cards are virtually the same, but with different colored heart charms.
I used Bazzill cardstock from the Reds collection, Rustic Chic Collection pattern paper, and Ultra Smooth White cardstock. All stamping is done in L’Amore Palette ink and all images are from the TAC stamp set “Love Doodles”.
This card has an “irridescent” heart charm. The close-up shows the flap of the coordinating envelope, stamped just like the card front.
This card features a pink heart charm, and the close up shows the front of the coordinating envelope.
For both cards, I flatten my bottle caps using my “old” style Sizzix die cut machine. I then punch a hole in the flange with my 1/16″ hole punch. The charms were found at Michael’s, and came on split rings. I slid the split ring onto the flattened bottle cap, and then attached the whole thing to the card front as shown. I stamped my image onto the white cardstock; punched it out with my 1″ Clever Lever Circle punch; and glued it to the center of the bottle cap. Simply Divine!
