Merry Wishes!

It’s a snowy Sunday and I’m taking advantage of the natural light and warm indoors. It may not be Santa’s workshop, but it’s my own Merry little studio! I’ve got all kinds of projects going on featuring TAC’s Merry Wishes cardstock collection. (Not to mention buttons, Scrappers’ Floss, and Crystal Stickles!)

I am altering the round tins and Christmas lunch boxes for gifts for my co-workers. The round tins were purchased at a dollar store and the lunch boxes were bought in the after-Christmas clearance section of Wal-Mart 2 years ago.

I adhered pieces of patterned cardstock from the Merry Wishes collection around the green gift box for a quick and easy “wrap” job. I stamped directly on the red gift box using our New Canvas Palette ink and Snowflakes stamp set. I just love the New Canvas for a really great white ink!
This photo shows the box before I added stickles to the centers & tips of the snowflakes.
Since we all need a little sparkle at Christmas time, I decided to make my own glittery buttons and embellshments. I just used a soft bristle paint brush to spread Crystal Stickles on the buttons and gift tag. Easy shmeasy!
