November 2007 Stamp of the Month, Bind-It-All Mini Album
The November 2007 TAC Stamp of the Month is the very versatile Button Words (TAC-2783). I decided this set would be perfect for my very first ever Bind-It-All project, so I made an album of some of my favorite childhood photos. I used the Lilly Anna cardstock collection (V-833), along with fun embellishments and my Bind-It-All to create the look I wanted.
This is the front of the album. I stamped “sweet” in Chartreuse Palette ink (TT-210) on white cardstock, then punched the image out with the 1″ Clever Lever circle punch. I then layered the stamped circle onto one of the tags in the Lilly Anna collection, added some ribbon from the Lilly Anna ribbon collection, and adhered the whole thing to the front. ”Memories” (Label Words T-2282) was stamped in Reflection Blue Palette ink.
Here’s a view showing the tags from the side of the album. I alternated covering the coaster “pages” with cardstock from the Lilly Anna collection and coordinating papers from the 12″ x 12″ Brights Cardstock Stack (V-72). I sponged the edges of the coasters as well as the cardstocks with the following inks: Reflection Blue Palette ink (TT-205), Chartreuse Palette ink (TT-210), Tea Leaves VersaMagic chalk ink (s-960), and Pink Petunia VersaMagic chalk ink (S-936).

This is the first layout in my Button Words album. I used the Lilly Anna tag for the journaling on the left. I stamped the “love” image in Tea Leaves VersaMagic chalk ink on another tag. I used my Crop-a-Dile to set an eyelet from the Lilly Anna through the tag for an extra touch, then layered it over the photo on the page.

A little Cupcake button, some dainty blue ribbon, and a stamped border make this layout whimsical.

A pink Bitty Blossom and another Cupcake button make quick and easy embellishments on this simple layout. I folded a piece of 6″ x 4″ mauve cardstock to create the pocket on the right. The journaling details are written on the tag with a Micron black pen.

Here’s another view showing the tag. I used Pink Petunia VersaMagic chalk ink for all the stamping, sponging, and to color the white grosgrain ribbon.

I kept these pages simple by only adding a tropical green sprial clip as an embellishment. All the stamping and sponging are done in Tea Leaves VersMagic chalk ink.

This page shows a fun way to use an image by repeating it in the layout. Once again, my 1″ Clever Lever circle punch came in pretty handy! The images are stamped in Chartreuse Palette ink and layered on green gingham ribbon from the Lilly Anna ribbon collection.

This the back cover; a “happy” ending! Just for fun I used my 1″ Clever Lever circle punch to create a window in the Lilly Anna tag. I then stamped ”happy” in Reflection Blue Palette ink on a piece of scrap cardstock and adhered it to the back of the tag. I used my Crop-a-Dile to make a larger hole in the green Bitty Blossom, and to set a blue washer from the Mia’s Cottage hardware collection through both the flower and the tag.

Here’s the album open showing both front & back covers. Voila!
