How’s that saying go… “Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans.”

Our grandson Sam’s 1st birthday was on Saturday the 15th. We spent much of the week getting ready for his big shindig. Sam & his mommy, our daughter Sarah got hit with a flu bug earlier in the week, but were all recovered in time for the party.

Monday the 17th was the first day of summer school for our other daughter, my husband, & myself. Wouldn’t you know it! The three of us went down like dominoes with the same flu bug starting Sunday night. I was the last to get it on Monday afternoon, and I didn’t leave the house again until yesterday! My hubby managed to make it to his class, although just, but Leslie & I both had to drop our classes and register for later sessions this summer.

So, thankfully I am finally feeling better now, and I actually have been able to sneak in a little stamping time. And, one unforseen bennie, I now have 3 whole weeks to be in the studio before I have to think about school again!
